The following are the simple steps I use in executing a long distance portrait commission

1. Contact me and we will discuss the project and your objectives.

2. We will conclude the best method for securing good photo reference.

3. A preliminary oil sketch (approximately 8"x10") will be executed and photographed for your review. Upon approval of the sketch, the actual portrait is begun. (1/3 of commission payment due)

4. On completion, a photograph of the painting is provided for your review. Your comments and suggestions are discussed and final changes are made to the painting. (1/3 of commission payment due)

5. The finished portrait is delivered to you. (1/3 of commission payment due)
