The following are the simple steps I use in executing an "in-person" portrait commission

1. Contact me and we will discuss the project and your objectives.

2. We will schedule a brief sitting for quick sketch reference and photo reference. (1/3 of commission payment due)

3. A preliminary oil sketch (approximately 8"x10") will be executed and provided for your review. Upon approval of the sketch, the actual portrait is begun. (1/3 of commission payment due)

4. On completion, the painting is presented for your preview. Your comments and suggestions are discussed and final changes are made to the painting.

5. The finished portrait is delivered to you. (1/3 of commission payment due)
